Meow, hello there, my name is Katherine, but you can call me Kat; because I basically am a cat. Anyways, I am a 26-year-old, lifestyle blogger, with an INFP-T personality type, from the United States. I love fashion, the color pink, cats, dogs, and spending all my time on my computer. I'm often seen wearing cat ears headbands.

Mystery Blogger Award

First of all, I would like to thank my friend Mari for nominating me for the Mystery Blogger Award. Mari was actually the one who encouraged me to finally start my blog back when I was having issues with my Tumblr account, and she has been very supportive of my blog once I got started. I honestly can not thank her enough for that, she is absolutely the best! If you have a love for beauty, lifestyle content, and you have an interest in tarot, then I highly recommend checking out her blog. Mari has a lot of great content on her blog, and all of it is definitely worth a read!

That being said, it is an honor to be nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award. It has been about a year since I have launched my blog, and in 2020, I really want to put effort into creating more content and getting my blog out there more. I am hoping that I can make something special out of doing what I love, and I have always had a passion for writing. I also have a passion for graphic and web design, so naturally, I love blogging! Blogging does take a lot of work, as I had anticipated when I started my blog, but it's certainly been worth it.

Mystery Blogger Award

The Mystery Blogger Award was created by Okoto Enigma and was formerly known as the Enigma Blogger Award. Okoto created this award as a way to help new and existing bloggers receive more recognition, as there are so many hidden gems in the blogosphere that have yet to be discovered. The purpose of this award is to create a fun and positive community and help create a network among bloggers in the blogging community. The Mystery Blogger Award is for any blogger who is passionate about their craft and enjoys creating quality content. If you'd like, you can read more about this award, and why it was created, by visiting the original creator's post.

"There are so many blogs that are still a mystery to us; and when we get to know them, it's divine!" - Okoto Enigma

  4. List the rules in your post.
  5. Tell your readers three things about yourself.
  6. Nominate 10 - 20 bloggers.
  7. Notify your nominees that they have been nominated!
  8. Any your nominees any five questions that you'd like, with one weird or funny question (specify) included.
  9. Share a link to your best post (or posts).

Three little things about me

1 - I'm more of a tea person than a coffee person.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy coffee too, but I drink tea a lot more often than I drink coffee. Coffee is actually kind of a rare treat for me, whereas I have a hot cup of tea almost every morning.

2 - I enjoy watching professional wrestling.

Although I haven't actually kept up with it for quite some time now, I enjoy watching professional wrestling. Even though it's all scripted, and matches are predetermined, there is still a lot of athleticism that goes into it, which is something that I have an appreciation for. There is a lot to criticize about WWE, a lot that has deterred me from watching it over the last few months. But it looks like AEW is really stepping it up. That being said, I will always have a love for professional wrestling, even when I'm not following it closely.

3 - I like to shop in-store when I can.

Even though I'm an introvert, I actually prefer shopping in-store over shopping online whenever I can. At least when it comes to clothing and scented products. Although I can't say that I'm against buying clothes online, I just like being able to try them on and feel the fabric before I buy them when I can. With scented products, I want to know if I like the scent before I spend my money, and there's no way to smell them before you buy them via online shopping. Not yet, anyway. I also have to admit that I like the immediate gratification of having the product in your hand right away, and not having to wait for shipping.

Mari's Questions

1 - What is your favorite romantic comedy, or soundtrack from a romantic comedy?

I'm honestly not a very big movie watcher, and I don't surprisingly watch a lot of romance movies when I do watch movies, as I tend to gravitate more toward action, horror, and comedy. On the comedy note, if you'd consider Mean Girls a romantic comedy, I'd definitely say Mean Girls. I mean, the movie does kind of revolve around Cady Heron getting revenge on Regina George for taking back Aaron Samuels, after Regina found out Cady liked him. So, I definitely consider it a romantic comedy.

2 - Do you believe in Twin Flames?

This is actually my first time hearing the term Twin Flames, but upon Googling it, I most certainly do believe in Twin Flames. As a hopeless romantic, a dreamer, and an optimist, I believe in things like soulmates, so I must say that I'm intrigued by the idea of Twin Flames. Hopefully, one day I'll find mine?

3 - What is your favorite thing about guys, or whichever gender(s) you're attracted to.

When it comes to physical appearance, I have always had a thing for guys with great hair, haha. Hair has always been one of the first things that I notice about a guy's appearance. But in terms of personality, I adore men that are sweet and romantic. I also love it when a man isn't afraid to express what he's feeling. Like I said, I am a bit of a hopeless romantic, so romance is a big thing for me.

4 - What is your favorite flower?

I absolutely adore roses! They come in so many beautiful colors and varieties, and they are all absolutely gorgeous. My favorite color is pink, so I'm slightly biased towards pink roses, but I love all roses.

5 - Weird Bonus Question: How do you deal with third party situations, or how would you deal with them if you haven't been in one?

I feel that third party situations can be awkward for everyone involved, whether it's spending time with a tight-knit group of friends that you don't know very well or a couple, so I try to avoid them as much as possible. If I'm the third party, I'd honestly look for any excuse to get out of it. I also do my best to avoid making someone else feel like a third party and let them know they're not obligated to join in if they're not comfortable with it. I'd try to be as accommodating as I can towards them if they want to join in, but by no means would I force them to.

My questions for my lovely nominees

  1. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
  2. What is the most challenging part of blogging for you?
  3. What is one thing that you love about yourself?
  4. What is your favorite animal?
  5. My weird bonus question: If you were to start your own clothing or makeup brand, what would you call it?

My best posts

My nominees

Plaid and Sugar - @thecamiway

Loren's blog was one of the first blogs I found when I first started blogging about a year ago. If you check out her blog, you will find an abundance of great posts on a variety of topics, from product reviews to her travels and things to do in Canada. Loren also has sewing DIYs and recipes on her blog as well. I highly recommend checking them out!

Lucy Mary - @LucyMaryTaylor

Lucy's blog was also one of the first blogs that I discovered when I was starting in the blogging community. Lucy Mary is a lifestyle blogger from the UK, and she has an abundance of marvelous health and lifestyle posts. I also enjoy reading her personal posts about her goals and what's on her mind. She also shares insight into her life with cystic fibrosis in some of her posts, which is definitely worth a read and can be helpful for anyone with an invisible illness. And although I don't have an invisible illness, I still like to read these posts, as it helps me to better understand the struggles of living with an invisible illness or disability, as well as the best way to be supportive of them.

Ellie K. - @elliekblog

I actually just discovered Ellie's blog not too long ago when I came across her post about living in China during the coronavirus outbreak. As soon as I read her post, I immediately admired the way that she objectively gave insight into how daily life has changed in China, and how she is trying to remain positive and stay strong in an uncertain situation. We've heard a lot of scary stuff regarding the coronavirus over the last month or two, so it was refreshing to get the perspective of someone currently living in China. But apart from that, Ellie also has marvelous lifestyle posts as well. So if you enjoy reading lifestyle content, you'll enjoy her blog.

Sweet Passions - @sweetPassions07

Antonia's blog is another recent discovery of mine. I have been living her beauty and lifestyle posts, and I can't wait to take a moment to sit down and read some more of her posts! I absolutely loved her post on dealing with stress, and I really resonated with what she said about not being too hard on yourself, especially as I'm often my own harshest critic.

Sophie Bethany Rose - @xosophiebeth

I absolutely adore Sophie's pretty, pink, princessy blog. Not only do I adore her photography and her elegant sense of style, but I also love her recipes and her gift guides. I also have to say that I love her videography and the work that she puts into her YouTube videos; her videos are absolutely a treat to watch.

I do realize that this list is a bit on the short side, but these are some of my favorite blogs right now, and I wanted to share them with you. If you're reading this and you'd like to join in, then I also nominate you. Just leave a link to your blog in the comments, and I'll check it out. I'd love to discover some new blogs!

Mystery Blogger Award Logo
I decided to make my own logo. Feel free to use this logo if you'd like!

Once again, I would like to thank my wonderful friend Mari for nominating me and being supportive of my blog from day one. Actually, Mari has been supportive of my blog even before day one. Thank you for encouraging me to finally start my blog when Tumblr locked me out of my account, and I needed something else to do on my computer. I love you so much, and you are seriously the best!

Now to my nominees, there is absolutely no pressure to post! I understand if this isn't everyone's thing, but I wanted to give a few blogs a little bit of recognition anyway, as I have truly been enjoying them. And, once again, if anyone else is reading this, and wants to do this, then feel free. I would love to check out your blogs and read your responses!

Mystery Blogger Award
Thank you for reading, and I hope the rest of your day is wonderful!
