Meow, hello there, my name is Katherine, but you can call me Kat; because I basically am a cat. Anyways, I am a 26-year-old, lifestyle blogger, with an INFP-T personality type, from the United States. I love fashion, the color pink, cats, dogs, and spending all my time on my computer. I'm often seen wearing cat ears headbands.

Katherine's HUGE Wishlist To Santa 2019

Christmas Presents

I personally love keeping in touch with my inner child, regardless of how old I may be. I still shamelessly enjoy my favorite books, movies, and TV shows from when I was a young child, as well as some of my favorite childhood treats. I also still like to partake in some of my favorite childhood activities. Just because I'm in my mid-20s doesn't mean that I have to give up everything from when I was a kid! Honestly, I don't even mind being a little bit on the childish side, and I actually hope I always feel this way. Why should I ever fully let go of my childhood? I'm fully aware that I can't actually fly off to Neverland with Peter Pan, so I do have to be at least somewhat of an adult. But who says I have to fully grow up and leave behind everything I loved as a child?

One of my favorite things about Christmas is that it really helps to bring out my inner child. I often still feel the same way on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning as I did when I was a child. Honestly, I still feel pretty much the same as I did as a child all throughout December. Although, now I have more appreciation for all the work that goes into getting ready for Christmas. There is so much work that goes into decorating, wrapping, and everything else that you don't really think about when you're a child, and your main job is to fill out your wishlist to Santa. Although I did get to help a little bit with putting the tree up when I was younger, and even a little tiny bit with wrapping presents. I always offered to help wrap my own presents, but my mom wouldn't let me wrap my own, LMAO!

Anyway, aside from helping out a little tiny bit with decorating and wrapping, my main duty in December was to write out my wishlist to Santa and put it into my stocking. However, as I've gotten older, I've stopped doing that. Honestly, I rarely even put much thought into what I might want for Christmas anymore. In a typical holiday season, I may be able to think of one or two items at the very most that I'd love to find under the tree, but that's about it. But when I saw my best friend Mari's wishlist to Santa, I felt inspired to revisit my days of making a wishlist to Santa. Just to have a little bit of fun!

Gifts to fuel creativity

I've always been a little bit on the creative side, and I'm looking to start a bullet journal in 2020. So I've been spending significant amounts of time watching videos and reading posts on bullet journaling and window shopping at all sorts of stationery. I didn't even realize how interested I was in pens and markers until I started reading up on bullet journaling. I've always enjoyed browsing the art supplies section at the store, and I've always found stationery of any kind to be a thoughtful gift. But since I'm getting ready to start bullet journaling, I've been window shopping for stationery a lot lately. There is actually a lot of great stationery out there. Some of it is rather pricey, not going to lie, but some of it is pretty affordable as well.

Beauty gifts

Although I'm definitely not the best at makeup, I still enjoy playing around with it. I particularly love eyeshadow, as you may be able to tell. As of lately, I've had a preference for nude and natural colors, as it's easier for me to quickly create a look with them. However, I still enjoy playing with fun colors as well when I have more time to spend on my makeup. Or more like when I actually feel like taking my time on my makeup. In terms of cosmetics, I usually stick to drug store brands. Because as much as I love doing my makeup, I'm not into it enough to justify spending a lot of money on a single product. I will only buy a luxury product if it's something that I know for a fact that I really want and would get a ton of use out of. I also feel like I'm still a beginner with makeup, even though I've been doing my makeup since I was 12. So I also like the go the inexpensive route for that reason.

Gifts for self-care

I have a little bit of a weak spot for anything that smells good, especially body washes, lotions, and perfumes. I also really love self-care products in general, as it can make for a great treat to myself after a long day or a long week. Or whenever I feel like I could use a little extra something special. I personally love to apply a mask on Saturday nights as I'm getting ready for bed. Although I may consider doing that on Sundays instead as a part of self-care Sundays!

Fashionable gifts

I am a huge fashion lover, so clothes are my biggest weakness. Honestly, I wear workout clothes more than anything else, but I still love to dress up on the extremely rare occasions that I actually leave the house. Although some activewear is so cute that I actually feel like I'm dressing up a little bit when I'm wearing it, while still being comfortable. But regardless of whether I'm in my workout clothes or in my dressier clothes, the right outfit can really transform my mood for the better. Seriously, what I choose to wear on any given day can actually make a difference in how I feel, especially on a bad day. Even choosing to wear a nice pair of pajamas for when I'm just sitting in my chair can make a huge difference for me.

Gifts to accessorize

I love accessories just as much as I love clothes. They're the perfect finishing touch that can dress up even the most simple outfit, or just pull an outfit together. I absolutely love big jewelry, although I've developed an appreciation for more dainty jewelry over the years, especially earrings. Big earrings are gorgeous, but they can start to hurt after a while. Cute little studs don't weigh down my ears, so they don't start to hurt after a few hours. Aside from jewelry, I also love handbags, hair accessories, and anything that I could use to spice up an outfit.

I honestly love window shopping online, even though I'm one of the few people who would still prefer to purchase most items in-store. I almost always window shop my favorite stores before going to the mall to get a general idea of what they have. Although I rarely end up actually buying what I looked at online unless I went specifically for that item. Either way, making this list has allowed me to actually put the hours of window shopping I do online to use. And I have to say, this was actually an enjoyable list to make. It was also a little bit of a challenge, not going to lie! As a child, these lists were so easy to make. There were so many great toys when I was a kid that I could make a wishlist that was multiple pages long. But now I actually have to window shop a bit if I want to be more specific for Santa!

I know I won't be getting everything on this list. I also know Santa probably isn't going to bring me that iPhone or all The Sims 4 games that I don't have yet either, LMAO. But I never got everything on my wishlist as a child either. This is just for fun, and I'll be grateful for anything I do get for Christmas. On that note, I'd like to emphasis that this post is just for fun. I'm not actually asking for these items. I'm not comfortable with receiving gifts from strangers or giving my address. I provided links for those of you who may be curious about these items, and for those of you who may want to use this as a gift guide for someone on your holiday shopping list. Or maybe as a gift guide for yourself!
Thank you for reading, and I hope the rest of your day is wonderful!
